Any recommendations on tank grip. I know the standard stuff you can buy at some shops like Faster. But I was told it can be pretty harsh on the leathers. I was told there's something skate boarders use thats less harsh on the leathers....Stomp Grip. Anyone use the stuff?

Stomp Grip is really agressive (already a hole in my leathers, just put on in November) and I've only done two track days. There is some stuff that is smooth but tacky but I can't remember the name of it. Anyone?

I've used stomp grip for the my whole 2007 racing season and loved it. No problems wearing on my suit....

Don't know from personal experience but Tech Spec snake skins look really sweet and everyone on SVRider.com loves them. I'm considering a purchase myself.

I also use StompGrips and no problems. It's even comfortable with riding with jeans, all though I usually ride with a pair of sweat pants under the jeans (for colder weather).

I have been using stomp grip for several years now, it has never been a issue on my leathers. What kind of leathers do you have that a plastic tank grip wore through your leathers?

At Faster we have most Stomp kits in stock, we can also get the TechSpec as well.

I use those '70's looking flower stickers people used to put in their tubs.
Cheap, easy, stylish.

They also come in rubber ducky and frog motifs if ya wanna change your look.

+1 on stompgrips, got mine from Faster early last year, riding every weekend and never had any issues with my leathers either.
