If you already have a subscription, just order it to your address, then when you get the first issue, call them and tell them you want to add that year onto your current subscription. That's what I did for Maxim and I now have it till 2011.

im glad this magazine is free..... i counted 50 full page ads, a handful of partial page ads, in a magazine that only has 106 pages...... bullshit.... are most other magazines like this? plus when i started reading the article about the Vectrix, I was severely disappointed that it wasnt really about the Vectrix at all, but just a generic article about electric bikes.... Hopefully the rest of the magazine is better.

It ain't free, far from it. But, Motorcycle Consumer News, "MCN", has the best write-ups and information, et al. They don't advertise like so many other rags do.

A good friend of mine, and former chief instructor at MMI, writes the "Downtime Files" which cover motorcycle maintenance and repair. Matt is a genius when it comes to answering questions off the cuff.

The MCN website has tones of links to their PDF files for past issues. They even have a good price/value guide for used bikes.

The old saying goes, "You get what you pay for."
