I need to get a new chain and sprockets. Any suggestions would be great. Also if I change the amount of teeth how does this effect my bike? My bike has a 15 for the front and 39 for the rear. Stock is supposed to be 17 front and 38 rear. Not sure what it does but it's what I have. I do like the performance I have with it now. Thanks

Sprocket Specialists.

Stay away from Vortex aluminum sprockets... I sheared all 47 teeth off the one I had on my F4i at Pueblo.

You're already pretty aggressive going 2 down and 1 up. I wouldn't go down any more on the front or up any more on the back, especially w/a TL1K. If you were to go up 1or2 on the front you would lose some bottom torque(the most fun on a Vtwin) and depending on how much slack or room you have left in the chain you could go 1-6 down on the back. -1 front = -3 back.

if you like the gearing now, don't play w/it.

I bought the bike this way. So I'm going to leave it like it is. Thanks for the help.
