I love pilots too..I have a set of metzeler sportec m3's on now witch I really like, they heat up nice an fast, stick in the turns well, but they just don't last. I have 1500 miles on them now an the rear definitely needs to be replaced. so I'm going back to the pilots to get a better bang for the buck...

Pilot Power 2ct....thats what I have on my GSXR 600......they are sweet

I got a set of Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's (dual compound).

They have a little wider soft compound band than the 2CT's but the front is a single compound unlike the CT's.
Supposedly Pirelli's testing showed no benefit from dual compound on the front.

I like em better than Pilot Powers I had previously, though they wear a little quicker.
Haven't tried the 2CT's yet so I don't know how the two dual comp tires life expectency compare to eachother.

Probably try a set of CT's next and decide which I like better.
