Just a thumbs up for the site now to have a section for Social Events--rather than General.

Question: Should a rally of photos from such an event be linked/stored (considering a link may use less processing power and storage--vs. an upload to the CSC, I think) in the same post as the event or is it better (from a server/site maintenance POV) to have them in Pictures and Videos?

Thanks in advance for the reply.

Yearly/Lifetime supporters are able to create their own photo galleries as well. I've set the storage limits pretty liberally on those. While only supporters can create them, any signed-in forum member can view the galleries (this is just to prevent off-site linking aka wasting my bandwidth).

Just another option for you. ;) You can get there under Quick Links --> Pictures and Albums.

Thanks Ralph. After I get back from this next round of work I'll get back on board with the support.

Now that you mention it, how do we get our photo albums turned on? I uploaded some pics a while ago but they are still waiting approval or activation or something computery. :)

Reeeally? Interesting. I didn't think you had to get anything approved. But I will go take a look.

Cool. Can you see my albums on my profile? They say "N/A" to me and I can't view the pics. I clicked back through to where I can upload/edit individual pics, and I can see the photos there, but they say "waiting for moderator approval".

I thought we could upload the porn if we kept in it our private albums? No? No porn?
