I liked it better when they called it the 2005 Mustang.

problem with the camaro is chevy can't figure out where it fits

they have a high end sports car

they can't build a cheap camaro that will out sell the mustang

they don't need an entry level car

where does it fit and how do you sell it?

i don't think they will ever build it again :dunno:

but i have been wrong before

you hit the nail on the head. what's with both ford and chevy going retro? throw the LS6 in it and i'd drive it.

i think ford just talked them into stop making them because they were making the mustang look bad.. i mean you could spend 26,000 on a ss, but for a mustang to even come close in horsepower or performance you would have to buy a cobra... along with a few extra transmissions.

You're kidding right? Did you ever look at the price tag on the SS when they were new? The SS and Firebird Firehawk were anywhere from 35k to 37k new...they might be 26k now...but not when they were new...the reason they stopped making them is becuase they couldn't even come close to selling as many cars as Ford was..if they were that good of a seller they wuold have never shit canned them...

Mmmmm, not a huge Chevy fan, but it does look sexy. I would drive it and have fun. Chevys handle like shit though, so would have to upgrade the suspension. And it would have to have an LS6, minimum.
