I kinda like the nose. They pulled off the blunt profile far better than Honda did. The exhaust is.....ok. I want to know the specs. Variable valve-life and/or timing maybe? I see the disk carriers are a lot lighter looking, as are the wheels. I wish they'd give us a bigger gas tank though, some of us actually DO ride long distance, and hate the 3.5gal tanks we're now getting. I like my 4.6-ish gal tank.

Speaking of the blunt nose look, why are the factories doing this? Is it a new trend or does it have something to do with aerodynamics? Suzuki definitely pulled the look off better than Honda.

I like the side fairings....the rest looks like shit. Oh my god, I think I just became a lifetime member of the Kawi Owners CLub.

from my understanding it is for aerodynamics, It is suppost to help create less surface friction. There is less square inches than the older style.

Just in case picking large bugs out of your intake wasn't enough, this one looks like a nest of swallows will live in it! Seems like Suzuki is trying to get the award for Most Pointy Bits back from Yamaha, too. Still, not bad. I like it.

I wonder what other colors it will come in? Blue & white is so damn cliche Gixxer. I really liked the dark blue 750 from '07.

Here are a few more photos in the different colors. I have Micron exhaust on my 07 and I have heard it called a whale penis but this maybe a better example.

Ok, i kinda like it, but, even being a loyal Blu/Wht Suzuki fan........what's with the ghey:slappers:pastel blue?!?! Why not the DARK, medium, and light blue of the typical colors? That body style would look really good in the Burnt Orange/Black scheme that Lo Lo has!:hump:

If I had to pick, it would be the white one. But there's just something about the fairings I don't quite dig.

Whats up with the dual pipes? Is that part of the dynamics also?

Everybody hates exhausts, period. I don't think I've heard ANYONE like ANY of the exhaust systems on ANY bike. So.....change it already. I think that looks way better than "the can on a stick" exhaust systems like the stock one on my '01, or all the bikes before that. I don't like undertail exhausts....at all. Not because I don't like the way they look (i actually like some of them), but because of the dynamic negatives. Most mass far from roll center, HOT tailsection, useless underseat storage, bad pipe routing (restrictions), and the smell of unburnt exhaust gasses all over your back. Keep the pipes down there, where they belong!
