Kimbo Slice just got his butt kicked on CBS. 14 seconds in, he takes a small shot on the eyebrow and goes down. The guy fighting him, "Silverback", started throwing bombs, that weren't very well aimed, and the ref stopped the fight.

I can't stand Kimbo Slice. He is a pompus ass. And not a very good fighter. He hasn't really fought anybody, and he has NO technical skills whatsoever. Glad he got beat. Maybe the legit MMA will see that he can't handle the real fighters and get him out of the MMA. :hump:

While I agree with you, It'll never happen... he's too much of a marketing cash cow for them. They'll just put the dude back to fighting no-names that he can push around and be the thug.

Never mess with a guy willing to rock hot pink spots in his hair.

Oh yeah, I agree that he is a cash-cow for them, but unless he starts fighting and winning against some decent fighters, that will go away. Folks will eventually get tired of seeing no-name fighters being fed to him. If he had some actual fighting skills, it would be entertaining to watch. But he has no fighting style. He is even listed as a "brawler". He is basically a bouncer, which he as made a living as, and we can all see that on any weekend night at our local gun and knife clubs. I used to work as a bouncer in southern Oklahoma and we had a few guys that were the same way. I was also a cop and used escort techniques to remove the problem children. Some of our bouncers were just local bullies that would beat the crap out of people that wouldn't do what they wanted. I used to give them crap about it and it started getting so that when they knew there was going to be a fight, they would call me just to see if I would get my butt kicked. They thought it was funny. That was until a 4'8" blond chic put me on my back in the parking lot. A kick to the nards will win any fight.

That was a lame fight. I could understand if the guy that won got some really good hits in, but he didn't. I think they should fight again.

kimbo fucked up, got tripped up, fucked up again and opponent took advantage of it before kimbo even knew what was happening. thats how most street brawls go, so he should have felt right at home.

He doesn't belong in MMA. Backyard fights is about all he is good for. He doesn't have the conditioning for mma. The last fight in the ring/octagon he was so tired in the first round he about collapsed. He "won" the fight against a no name with a bloated ear about ready to pop that was just as wobbly. It was definitely a fixed fight.

I thought it was going to be a short fight....I just guessed it would go the other way. You never know in MMA. Much better than that corrupted boxing.

Hell, it looks like it really only last 10 seconds. Glad to see Kimbo lose though, he is just a brawler. I never really liked how he didn't earn his stripes before he got the huge payday, but good for him on cashing in when he could.

Hard to tell if Kimbo slipped while coming in or if Silverback's right hand dazed him as he was lunging in.

Honestly, once Bas supposedly started training Kimbo, I thought he might've actually gone at least somewhere in the sport. Petruzelli was a TUF contestant a couple of seasons ago wasn't he? Trip that. Anyhow, yeah, Kimbo clearly didn't pick up any Pankration skills form Bas, judging by the way he basically laid straight out, defenselessly, once on the ground.

Yeah, Seth is a legit MMA fighter, not surprised that he beat Kimbo. He's not a world class heavyweight, but still... The top ten UFC welterweights (170 lbs) would probably beat Slice, so I wouldn't want to imagine him fighting guys at HWY.

Can you imagine the destruction that a guys like Cheick Kongo, or Gabe Gonzaga would put on him? Those two would head-kick Kimbo into the middle of next Tuesday.

But yeah.... Kudos to Seth, for putting (at least a temporary) halt to the Kimbo vs. Tomato Can trend.

Kimbo doesn't belong in any professional fighting circuit, when his first fight against tank abbot (with a pro fighting record of like 3-35) second fight against some no name chump with a similar record, then finally put up against a decent "real" fighter what do you expect? A backyard brawler going up against fighters who have trained professionally in brazillian ju-jitsu and other various fighting styles for 5-10 years plus. As far as Kimbo being a cash cow, I think its safe to say the piggybank is officially empty!

I wouldn't mind seeing Kimbo fight again, but he certainly has to round himself out with more training. And good on him, for hitting up Bas for his camp, but he can't be getting into smash and grab stand-up wars, with guys that will exploit whatever weakness he has. He'll never be a serious contender. Even a guy like Brock Lesnar isn't quite there yet, but look at him! Dude's fighting for the title, since he's a walking cash machine for the UFC. Kimbo vs. Brock Lesnar would be pretty entertaining I think.

Anyway..... Forsure Kimbo needs to be a more complete fighter, before ever headlining anything... ever, ever, Ever Again. But dude has potential, and marketing power, I'll give him that!

that would be a fight I would like to see, not pay for, but like to see. Lesnar and Kimbo would be funny for a while. Just two big dudes wailing on each other. I still think Lesnar would take Slice though. One good puch to the eyebrow, and poof, Slice on the ground.
