Just like it says, a ride up north.
The last time I went up there I missed a few roads I was meaning to go on. I used to live and ride up there quite some time ago and I want to go back and see how things have changed/progressed.The weather has let us enjoy at least one last weekend of good riding.

Sunday November 2nd

Meet @ the Ihop on north Academy and Hwy 83
Not the Denny's as it has bad service latly I've heard

7 AM to eat
8AM we will be gone, so fill up before you get there
Plan on a whole day of riding 500+ miles in 10 or less hours
It will be cold that early in the morning so dress in layers
The usual crap applies;
Current lisence and motorcycle endorsment
Current resistration
Current insurance
Decent bike in decent shape
No wining, running from the cops, passing in the same lane, ect......

Come help me invade/pillage the north this weekend

Peace Bash

I realy should of known better but, alas as I get older I forget.
Thank you all for your support in the invasion to the north.
As MAL has so gently put it, this will be the senior tour for the year.
So break out the laxitives, throw away your walkers, and dammit Dallas,
it isn't always about you!

Peace Bash

PS. The irony of this is in a month I am going for hip replacement and
will be acually using a walker.LOL

Just think back a couple years when you were a senior in high school and just think of it as senior skip day or something.

I have to be back in town before 5 for the CC hockey game, but the ride sounds interesting. I can peel off and go home by myself.

There is a little matter of a new kitchen floor that has to be installed...............BEFORE the said ride can commence :scream1: Mister!!!!!!!!

PS. The irony of this is in a month I am going for hip replacement and

Good luck with that!

Your wish'n HIM luck I'm the one that needs good luck I'll be the one trying to keep Scott from takin him up Captin Jack's in a side car for 6 Weeks!!!! Please pray for me!!!!

Yes Jeffy you have taught them well and I am sure they will be bringing back a little slice of heaven from the Northies

By the way I am accepting applications for entertainment of Mr Bash for his 6 weeks of home boundness. Unfortunately I have had to reject most of SOCO at this point....... well cause I know them and they will only incite Mr Bash into getting grounded or tied to a bed while I am at work. (in this case that is not a good thing ,.......sicko's)

PM for Application LOL

OK, we can use the frame from the coffin race on Saturday. Mike do you want an upright seat, or a slight recline? I have a Cobrea racing seat and a 4 point harness...

I am thinking a slightly inclined seat will serve two purposes. It will relieve some of the pressure on the "new hip" and it will be easier for him to prop his feet up on the cooler.........

Ya cause if you use all of the tire its bad for it right.

dallas
Fri Oct 31st, 2008, 07:53 AM
The sides of the tire are just there for show. I would never recomend anyone ride on anymore than the 3 inches in the middle.......

^^^^Ya you may get kicked out of your really cool awesome motorcycle club. For useing the wroung part of the tire.

You just can't seem to follow some simple rules.
Refer to the first on quoted please.
No soup for you!

Only two points left???-
Sounds like somebody went to court and didn't fill the rest of us in.

Its not official yet, but in a nutshell the Park County DA is overly harsh with penalties.

I was charged with 16 points and his initial offer was 12 points and a few days in jail. When we pointed out the difference between a 6 point speeding ticket and 12 points that I got was 1 mph (39mph over versus the 40 I was ticketed for) he offered 6 points but re-added the careless for a total of 10.

Currently I haven't taken it yet and I'm scheduled to return to Fairplay for the 3rd time for this ordeal in two weeks but with the 10 points that would leave me with 2 remaining.

I'm thinking about going on the FZ, I'll just have to ride sweeper and slower then the group usually paces.

Hey Alien,
I rode with you and your CO Springs crew some years ago- welcome back to street riding! And imho you made a fine choice for a street machine.
All,
I’m grateful for my employment, but it sure gets in the way of my riding opportunities…:banghead:
I’m sure riding with the Bashed crew will be good times- enjoy!
