Looking for a motor

I know this is not where to post this but i cant post it in the wanted or for sale.

While i was on my way moving up here my motor blew on the way up here from Oklahoma :cry: I have an 03 yamaha r6 i been looking on craiglist but haven't found one. Just wondering if anyone knows where i can get one so i can get back on my bike ASAP. Thanks in advance if anyone knows where i can get one at.

Get a Kawasaki and you won't have to worry about blowing the engine anymore. But if you are cruising for a bruising check out Steeles Motorcycle I think they might have one.

What happened to the engine? Spun rod bearing? Broken Valve? Broken rod?

Check e-bay too. There are often motors for sale on there. All r6 engines from 03-05 will fit in your bike.

Well my bike is still sitting in pueblo going to pick it up this weekend. I think the rod bearing went out. But as for when i parked it the motor will not turn over.

will a newer r6 motor work if i get the wire harness and all?
