If I remember I read in a magazine about 12-13 years back that this bike was huge in the world except the US where it wasnt street legal for some reason. I know they eventually came over but didnt sell for very long.

YZF1000.... bridged the gap from FZR1000 to R1, timewise....Only sold in the US in 97...fast, comfy, heavy.....Sold as the ThunderAce in Europe 96-01.
