just did it tonight. there was a knot in the wood and the blade stuck and kicked the wood back at me, my fingers hit the blade.

the middle finger is kinda bad, they're starting to bruise pretty good too. :) And Jeff... I'm single...not many easily accessible dumb guys on my roster. Besides why would i make a man do something that i am capable of.

At a safety training meeting this last weekend at Budweiser in Fort Collins, we were shown the latest in table saw technology -- http://www.sawstop.com/.

It's pretty incredible. The blade stops quickly enough the most you're likely to show injury-wise is a nick on your finger/hand. Not exactly cheap, though.

Waited til the next day to get stitches (mistake). It didn't take, and now I'm slated for plastic surgery and a possible skin graft.

Have a drill press as well have tools, will travel, since the wife is out of town let me know if there is anything I can do...be careful and yes I am a steel stud framer as well.
