You know, actually, I think I'd just skip step 6 and put that f#cker in a big hoagie roll and call it DINNER!:)

Actually, picture this even: while you're baking the bacon, fry up a smoked keilbasa (or sausage of choice) with some onions, then after the chees on the bacon is melted, drop the sausage and onions in the middle, THEN roll it and put it in the hoagie roll.......:yumyum::yumyum::yumyum:

I don't know. It's pretty "firm" for lard. I wouldn't expect to be able to cut it like that and stay whole and clean without it being a little messy.
