I've always liked the XR 750, and think this is a pretty faithful modern repro of a classic look. Hat's off to HD. This would be an interesting 2nd or preferrably 3rd bike after a 990 Adventure or V-Strom.

Bad photochop. But, even though I think they're kinda ugly, that'd be interesting too.

what do you mean photochop. Those bike were raced in the mid ninties.

Hmmmmm, I just don't see Evil Knievel riding this one.
The old XR750 looked a lot nicer:

And it will not hold a candle to my Hello Kitty Sportster.

I've got a big poster in my garage of Scott Ru$$ell riding one.:) They were never that competitive but sounded great out on the track.

The only Harley I would ever consider is a replica of this 1913 1/4 mile board track racer.

So we can bring back a sport (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Board_track_racing) where you even risk your life as a spectator. :)

Matty proved that the MRA was still thrilling as a spectator.

You can still risk your life as a specator at the Isle of Man.

I wonder how much one of these are now worth in running condition?

Hell Picotte even led the Daytona 200 (when it was still a race) on one, until the pit crew cross threaded the rear axle on a tire change....

I am not impressed with the NEW Hardley.
Save the cash get a old CB900f Supersport and whip the shit out of the Hardley

A good running/handling 750F would do it. My buddies had them back in the day and they could really run with a good rider on them.

That is what makes a lot of classic cars/bikes worth so much money. Guys can't seem to resist trying to make "improvements" and the classic originals become very rare.

The "street" one on the left looks photochopped where the pipe and turn signals are.

Well, that's actuall some sort of custom made to LOOK like an XR 750. The real racers had a reversed front cyclinder head, with 2 big carbs and HUGE air cleaners on the right side, with the exhaust exiting the left side. Nice, clean-looking custom though. I'd hit that!:)

F'ing know-it-all!
Yeah, after I grabbed that photo I thought that the pipes were on the wrong side....and I totally forgot those fugly air filters.
(Plus in that photo the bike has no brakes.)

Better?

'Scuse me, reversed REAR cylinder head. It appears only in politics do I truly know it all!:)

Not exactly a Harley, but uses the V-Rod engine.
