My Ford exploder is showing a "check engine" display. I'd like to see the code and re-set the unit.

Go to a parts Retail store such as Autozone & they will scan it.

Did it come on before or after you started cleaning injectors?

whole story follows.... the indicator lit up. i went to Autoz.
the Autoz verified that banks 1 AND 0 were running lean. idling was ragged.... i went home and threw a bottle of injector cleaner into half a tank. 3 days later, i finished that tank, and the idle is steady.
i want to reset the indicator and see if all is well.
Happy New Year!

Unplug your battery for 5 minutes and that resets it too. Keep the negative grounded so it saps the power.

Henry-
If unhooking the battery doesn't work then let me know I have several code readrs/diagnostic tools.

I have one Henry. I'm not sure what neck o' the town you're in, but if you're anywhere near Centennial, you're absolutely welcome to it.

greetings all,
I thank you for your replies, etc. After running half o'tank of petrol with injector cleaner, re-setting, and another half tank, all is well with the Xploder!
