So a buddy is coming up to winter park, kids dont know and dont wanna know how to ski.....

#1 whats the best deals on lift tickets/passes?

#2 any suggestions for nonskiiers that are in the winter park area?

There is a tubing hill just past winter park for the non skier

If you know someone with a pass or TransFour pass, they can buy up to 4 tickets at the discounted rate. That or King Soopers for discounted tix.

Non-skiers can snowshoe in Fraser, ice skate at the outdoor rink at Cooper Station (downtown WP), there's the tubing hill in Fraser as someone mentioned. There's snowmobile rentals, dog sleds, horseback riding, and the hot springs.

sweet, thanks for the responses so far.... what about "off the beaten path" places to eat near there? meaning good, non-chain types

I also like Tabernash Tavern and Back Country Grill (little pricey but good)
