Even I went to the shop this morning and picked up a bike to ride out to work! :) A little cool but wasn't a bad ride at all.

Hell yeah. I was getting to work just as the sun was coming up. It sucks that my vid cam will not work at this temp due to the batteries giving out or I would have had a great vid of the sunrise and a redneck in a white F250 that decided he needed my lane more than I did.

It is going to be in the mid 60's today so get out and ride, right?

Um...I don't get those things...other stuff happens to me when I think about getting out there on two wheels;-)

I did not ride to work this a.m,, cuz it's still the dead of night when I leave the house...sigh...

Fucking sinus infection / cold. Trying to ride a bike today might be bad. Oh well, maybe I can wear the helmet in the truck and roll the windows down.

Fri Jan 2nd, 2009, 09:52 AM
Ralph, need some of this? ;)

Fri Jan 2nd, 2009, 09:59 AM
Cute.

If I thought I could I would. But the sinus pressure on my ear canals is actually affecting my balance, and I have this aversion to crashing, so...

Besides, you should save that for when you're riding your Kawi.

konichd
Fri Jan 2nd, 2009, 10:06 AM
True, cause even the Kawi makes my panties wet :)

Too bad the battery is dead :(

I'm right off Santa fe and Bowles, and have heard bikes screamin down santa fe for a couple hours now.

I hope everyone is having a great time.

Between about 12-30 and 2-30. It was crackin'. I tried Parmalee Gulch, too. No way near as much fun. Quite a few gravely corners.

Were you with one other person? I thought I saw a bike that could have been you with another rider...

Yep it's still there, :D and guess what? It's as clean as if it was summer! From Lyons all the way to the top. Sand (& officer Robinson) free. I think all that wind blew the dust away. Saw a couple of SuMo guys going up as I came back down. What a ride!

Hi All,
I have moved from the dirt to the street and am ALWAYS looking for a riding partner. There is nothing like a cool winter ride and a good cup of coffee.
