Well at least he can be comfortable in knowing that if he misses the ramp that he'll probably never know it...

We didn't have video back in the 80's. I do have some pictures engraved in clay tablets.

The dual compound ones (oak center, pine edges) work great.

And I was around the corner having dinner at Battista's. Good grief. This is the second year in a row that I have missed his jumps and my player cards would have gotten me pretty damn close to the action. Only I am to blame. But, it was a fine dinner!

Heard he broke his wrist on the landing, yeow!

Actually, doing those "elevator drop" jump to tranny used to be one of my favorite things to do. Ok, not off a hundred foot drop but we had one that was 40'ish that I hit a touch too fast once and landed almost flat bottom, broke my fork springs in two on my KX500.
Used to hit one on the BMX that was 30'+ too. The thing is once you get over the freefall factor, for the most part you're only 1-2' off the face of hill as you drop. It's just getting that landing right that counts

So is Mortie or what ever the hell the accordian player's name is still there? Oh and that was a insane jump. Didn't he also make a world record jump at the Rio.

LurchHe sure is! Man, that guy has been playing there for over 30 years. Poor guy, he's all bent up and hunched over. But he can still hit those keys pretty good.
Yah, Robbie did that jump last year. Seems like he's got a contract with the Harrah's chain of casinos.

Good call on Mortie (I think that is his name). Pictures are all over with him and tons of famous athletes, movie stars and politicos.

Definitely worth the price of the meal.
