If anyone sees an early to mid 90's Blazer in the Denver area
with faded red paint, a black tinted rear window, and damage to the
rear of it please call the police because it could very well be the
fucking scum that cut me off and then ran like a fucking coward...

------------------------------------------------------------------------

i was on a two lane on-ramp, in the right lane.
4-5 cars in front of me were fighting for the left lane.
they all finally got left and were doing about 15 mph.
i stayed in the now empty right lane, and planned to exit to the right just before the merge onto the freeway.

i sped up from my hanging back 15-20 mph to about 50 as it was a 45-50 mph exit/entrance
and completely clear in front of me now.
as i about reached the first car to my left he swerved in front of me, still doing about 20 mph.

not a lane change and no signal.
he had just signaled and properly changed lanes just seconds before.
it wasn't like that.

he SWERVED in front of me an i believe he slowed down.
at the very least he did not speed up.
oh fuck, grabbed front brake, impact...2 seconds roughly.
i really had no where to go and i believe it was done with intention.

i hit him, bike flipped forward, and i hit the ground hard, right side of my face shield.
then right shoulder, fore arm, knees, etc.
i slid for a time, and when i started to roll i tried to stop that.
i came to a stop and stood up to walk out of traffic's way off to the shoulder...
to watch this fuckin piece of shit just drive off.

i looked down and see shredded alter ego pants, and there was blood pouring
out of the intact right gpx 2 index finger.
everything hurt and i kept asking myself "omg am i ok" "omg am i ok".
i was pretty fucked up, kinda sat/colapsed and slid back until i got to the wall.
people stopped to call for help and an ambulance was on the way.

i kept trying to stay calm despite the pain and blood.
i kept remembering to control my breathing and not move.
i told the people not to remove anything, just keep talking to me.
at one point i started seeing dots and everything got really blurry,
and i could feel myself want to sleep.
i just kept telling the people to keep talking to me...don't let me sleep.

my gear saved my life PERIOD.
it did it's job well.
it protected every part of my body it was supposed to within reason imo.

4 stitches right index finger, tiny abrasion right middle finger, very slight fracture right wrist,
minor abrasion right elbow, fairly less minor abrasion right shoulder, small abrasion left knee cap.
very sore everywhere, especially my legs.

my gear saved my life.

P.S. please help the cops find this fuck.

Sucks to hear that man, some people are just fuck heads... Was it by any chance at I-25 and Lincoln? I was riding today and got off the highway and pulled up to another biker and he asked if I saw the accident, he said it looked pretty bad. I'll keep an eye out for you, and once again sorry about it :(

Watch that wrist damage. A couple of CSCers had recently broken their wrists only to find out later that the damage was worse than they had originally thought.

I hope like hell somebody saw that jerk and got a plate and reported them a bit later. If you could find a photo of a similar vehicle on the net and post it, it might help others recognize the asshat.

thanks for the words and i will certainly keep an eye on this wrist.
doctor said he seriously doubts it'll ever need a surgery.
doesn't make it fuckin hurt less.

a far as vehicle pics, great idea.
it is fuzzy, and this might sound retarded, but i found two pics that are
similar to what's in my head...

like this 87, only rounder in the back...
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y141/Siriuschris/706390188_eaf609f1fc.jpg

a little more like this 90, but it was no xtreme model.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y141/Siriuschris/blazer2.jpg

combine those two and that's what's in my head.
sorry i got nothin better =/
i seem to remember a swing out tire rack on the back...sorry, it's fuzzy.

i'll call the cops and let 'em know it's an older model than i thought.

thanks again, everyone.

It was probably a 4WD if it had the tire rack on the back.

Good to hear you'll be ok.

memory update...

the blazer was not equipped with a rear tire rack,
and had no hub caps (at least on the right side wheels)
exposing generic black wheels.

rear window was tinted BLACK black and had a rear window wiper.

damage from my bike should be just off center to the right iirc.

roughly a late 80's to 90 ish fading red blazer

hope this helps and thanks again, everyone.

That happened really close to my house, I-25 and University Exit. I will keep a look out over the next few days and hopefully see the prick... If we see him do we just write down the plates and call the police or what?

thanks, bro and yes.
if any of you see this mf just call the cops and give the plate.

let them know this might be the guy they're looking for from the
motorcycle h&r on 1-2-09.

if you can, give them report number 09-3577 but don't sweat it
if you can't/don't.

don't do anything to get directly involved with this piece of shit.
i wouldn't want anything negative to happen to any of yous over this.
if he's willing to do what he did, who knows what else he'll do.

Saw a red 1992 with DARK rear tint today. It had the spare tire carrier on the back but 0 damage anywhere. Couple of young construction worker kids (20 - 25 years old). I asked them:

"Hey, didn't I see some dumb ass on a motorcycle hit you last week? Dude, he was a fucktard!!" (Trying to bait him out) He said "Naw dude, this is my moms truck, she was in Oklahoma last week."

Sorry, I thought I had a bite :(

looks surprisingly ok, but it's totaled.
lots of little damage that adds up fast on a $3k machine.
