View Full Version : I'm Moving to Texas

Some of you know I was laid off in December and I have had to make some major decisions because of this. One of those decisions was to decide whether I stay here in Colorado or move to Texas.

Well I have decided to move to Texas at the end of January. This was not an easy decision because I have made allot of friends here over the years but this is a positive move for me.

You may be asking...why Texas? Are you nuts??? Well yes I am but that's not the reason. The real reason is that I have a sister that lives outside of San Antonio and she has been trying to get me to move there for a while. Well now is the perfect time to make that change.

No I do not have a job lined up yet but I did receive severance so this will help in getting me on my feet.

I doubt I will be racing this year :( but I will definitely be doing track days :). So that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

You and your daughter will be truly missed. Good luck in TX, and you are always welcome to stay with us if you need a place when you come and visit.

Sucky. You're gonna be missed, but I guess you've picked up on that by now.

Well hey.... Two things.

1.) You're doing what you dig, and I can respect that. A little infusion of excitement in ones life never hurt anybody. And although I've never been, I hear that S.A. is beautiful.

2.) When the beauty, excitement, and novelty of it all wears off (and you have the opportunity to), you know where your friends will be waiting for you.

Here's to a change of venue.
