-19 deg. F in Denver, CO re-sparked the global warming issue for me. I'm happy to say that our founding fathers should have copper cables wrapped around their bodies as they spin in their graves. Of course, we will have magnetic generators to utilize this free-ish electricity above their graves, for Obama's use. (reiterated for impact)

Barack Obama and the Threat That Isn't There (http://www.newsmax.com/brennan/Obama_global_warming/2009/01/06/168316.html)

Turns out, "global warming" is just another trendy leftist Cause, a man-made religion to collect alms (i.e. tax dollars) to fund the progress of the Nanny State. (http://hancaquam.blogspot.com/2009/01/global-warming-hoax-myth-of-scientific_09.html)

Special surcharges & new territory taxes (http://frog-man.blogspot.com/2009/01/global-warming-nannies-have-upped-ante.html)

Money simply passes from one set of hands to the other and there is absolutely no productive result to show for the transfer. (http://84rules.wordpress.com/2009/01/02/dr-james-hansen-admits-the-true-goal-of-global-warming-alarmists-socialist-redistribution-of-wealth/)

Who didn't Stephen King vote for?

Look what I found on this small interweb...

Cherry picking your data and promoting obvious misinformation to convince yourself that climate change isn’t real. Are you really that stupid???
Come up north. Come up to where my parents skated on the harbour in winter….a harbour that hasn’t seen ice since I was young…4 decades ago. Where ice is now virtually non-existent off our coast but full of icebergs calving off of Greenland. Where winter used to last 6 months and now averages TWO MONTHS.
You can whine all you like. It’s only a matter of time before even idiots like you will be forced to admit that if we don’t reduce the CO2 in the atmosphere then life on Earth is in trouble.
Yes, CO2 reduction is necessary, just as birth control. Birth control isn't always used and the lack of birth control aids to the CO2 volume with more bastards.

"Further," says Ashworth, "no regulation by man is necessary because CO2 is not a pollutant; it is part of the animal-plant life cycle. Without it, life would not exist on Earth. Increased CO2 in the atmosphere increases plant growth, which is a very good thing during a period of world population growth and an increasing demand for food."

"Taxing carbon," Ashworth adds, "would do absolutely nothing to improve the climate but would be devastating hardship to the people of the world." For example, U.S. Representative John Dingell's plan to tax carbon would add 13% to the cost of electricity and 32% to the cost of gasoline; just what we need during a Recession that threatens to become a Depression.

Dr. Tim Ball, a former climatology professor at the University of Winnipeg, recently asked, "How many failed predictions, discredited assumptions and evidence of incorrect data are required before an idea loses credibility? CO2 is not causing warming or climate change. It is not a toxic substance or a pollutant." (http://www.axcessnews.com/index.php/articles/show/id/17326)

I could go on...
