Wow, Telefonica even!
You do have to admit Rob, AWD is SWEET to drift in. Focus is fun and all, but there is nothing like 4 wheels drifting through a corner!

Hell yeah, I love watching that stuff...that is why I was so excited when we got SpeedVision...that is like the only channel that broadcasts that stuff! I just think it's funny that Citreon wins all around very frequently...they cars are excellent in the WRC series!

Outside of Rally...in the real world..Citroen cars are nasty lookin and don't sell nearly as much as the Foci and Rex's...and there were how many in the top ten? 2..and how many Foci...4...and only one lonely little Rex......they're all badass cars...

that's cause we only need 1 to beat your focus boys, not 4 :P

how much does that RS Focus cost? and can you even buy it? i thought those were just prototype cars.

Yeah, from what I know, that RS is not and will not be offered to the US market, nor is the government even going to pass it to be legal to import them.

We so need to have a car thread on here! We could go back and forth on cool stuff for HOURS!

I am actually thinking that when my Saturn is paid off, or closer to it (I think I owe like $4k on it), I want something turbo charged, and probably AWD. I am looking at a WRX wagon, an Audi A4, or maybe making my own Focus SVT wagon. Or possibly a Typhoon (my sisters is sooooo fun!). Need something a little bigger for kiddo. And something that I can play with!

I knew you'd post some dumbass comment on this thread. Just cause mommy and daddy drive Audi's doesn't make them the best cars in the world. How many Skoda's did you see in the top ten?

Well, yeah. I consider myself a car lover....I grew up in a household with tons of cars. My father used to have a Malibu that he raced SCCA, while he has Lotus' sitting back at the house. RIght now, he has 6 Lotus', a BMW M5, and a Mercedes ML 430, as well as a VW Jetta. In CA, he also has an Escort RS turbo (yes, the Eruo version) and a Porsche 944 turbo. My sister drives a Typhoon, and has a pro street Chevelle that he invests his time in. I personally let my Mustnag sit alongside my Audi with pride. There are some American cars that are good, in fact great, as well as many good Euro cars. However, this goes back to the same stuff that we all fight about on here-PERSONAL PREFERANCE!
Ok, back to the fun part of the discussion!

ummmm... can i drive the M5??? :D

Mel
Wed Dec 29th, 2004, 11:02 AM
The M5 is actually for sale  ...silver 88 BMW M5, gray market import. Has the euro spec motor, full black recaro interior, dark dark window tint, close ratio 5 speed (with 1st gear where 2nd usually is). VERY fast. So if you know anyone who wants it, he will sell cheap.... like $7k OBO (one just sold on e-bay for $12K). He has liked this car a lot, but is retiring this year and needs a new project to occupy himself. A couple of the Lotus' are for sale too...I have pics of most of them on my Yahoo profiles page.
