This '94 YZF750 I got is running pig rich. I replaced the plugs in it today, and it fired up pretty quick on choke then. But after I let it warm up a bit, took the choke off, and when I rev the engine, I can shoot a flame out the exhaust periodically. Bogs a bit too at low rpm when I rev it.

I'm not familar with these Mikuni carbs, so does anyone know how I adjust the mix on this?

95% chance the needle jets are ovaled out where the slide needles go through 'em. This is a problem on a lot of the FZRs and YZFs, including the early R1 and R6. Replacements are available from Yamaha for about $40 each(part # 3GM-14141-08-00). You may also have junk in the main air bleeds and/or the emulsion tube holes.

Is there a specific way to test for such a thing? I figured I'd probably have to take these carbs apart and clean them anyways, since the bike sat around for awhile.

The easiest thing to do is go ahead and clean the carbs, paying special attention to the pilot jets and emulsion tubes. How many miles are on the bike? I've seen needle jet issues on bikes with as little as 10 k.

$40 each  go to Factory Pro and get the plated emulsion tubes...set of four $96. They last much longer than the stock ones.

For Mikuni parts try www.motorcyclecarbs.com (http://www.motorcyclecarbs.com).

I've found they've had the best prices around for carb parts on my Seca 550.

Just get the factory pro ones, wya better than any others. Take your vacuum slide w/ needle jet out and look at the emulsion tube (the place your needle jets rest it) look for any oblong shape with a magnifier. See any one different then replace them all!

+1, probably one of the best "hop-ups" for a YZF or FZR.
