SPEED 3 ?????

What do you guys think of MazdaSPEED 3? I'm thinking about getting one. Pretty good bang for the buck. I bought a CX-7 last year for the baby and I think Mazda quality is great. Any opinions?

I dunno about the speeds, but I've got the plain ol' Mazda3i and I absolutely LOVE it! I've no trouble to speak of and I'm usually flying past everybody on I70 headed up to the mtns.

I like them, and Cobb makes a good setup for tuning it too.

Have a friend with a normal 3 (non speed) and have done some playing with it...intake, angel eyes, upgraded suspension, sway bars, drop kit. If you order parts from Canada, you can also get auto dimming review mirror with the rain sensor, heated exterior mirrors, etc. etc. (goodies not from here). I think it's a fun car to drive, very easy.

Friend of mine has a speed3. I've driven it. It is a blast to drive. He has not had any problems with it at all.

A new neighbor just moved in near us. He has a WRX with some retard-fart can-ricer-subaru nut swinger exhaust on it. Every time he drives by, I want to run out with a bat and club the ish out of his car. F Subaru. Especially since they don't make a turbo Legacy wagon with a manual transmission anymore.

as long as you dont stomp on the gas while you're turning, which you shouldn't be doing anyway with any car, you'll be fine. normal acceleration is fine.

the reason that they dont make the speed 3 with awd is because they want to keep the cost down and that's that whole purpose of the speed 3

I was looking at a Speed 3 a few weeks back, they seem like nice cars for the price. I know some people who own them and really like them. I've kinda decided against one, but still think they are a good car. The redesign photos of the 2010 don't appeal to me. You could wait for a few months and pick up a 2009 when the 2010's start showing up.
