View Full Version : Zombie thread prevention?

Doesn't vBulletin offer an option to lock threads that have had no activity for a set number of days? They would still be searchable in an archive state. If so, can we implement this to avoid more threads rising from the dead?

Example: http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=1277

I say give them 60 - 90 days then put them down...

Seeing the old names was funny.
It took me about three minutes scrolling through those posts before I realized that it was started 4.5 years ago. Funny thing was, I was about to post up that this was a repost from several years ago. Then I saw posts from people back in the day and then it occured to me that this was brought back from the dead.

HAHA...BisexualBritni. Wonder if she is the same one that used to run a porn site out of her home in Denver. Used to live on Dartmouth street. They would film in the backyard and on the patio with the hot tub...best part was all the homes around it were 2 stories with great views
