All reports say it is a great car. I am a traditionalist when it comes to Caddys tho. I prefer them as a symbol of "I've made it. My Family made it" The kind of car you can take to Country Buffet with the rest of the old retired folks or just drive your family down to Atlantic City for a weekend trip.

To me, Caddy does not say "sporty"

Still, it is a good looking ride :)

It's the only car that I would buy from GM at the moment. It's also one of three cars that I would get rid of my beloved Dub for.

If GM puts the Z06 or new LT1 motor in it... rawwrrr! I used to think Caddys went with white shoes and stretch fabrics, but the CTS-V is anything but that.

How about the new LS9 6.2L Supercharged motor? 556 hp @ 6100 RPM and 551 ft-lb of torque @ 3800 RPM.

What I like is these electro-magnetically controlled shocks it rides on.

It completed the Nurburgring track in about 7:59. That's only ~37 seconds behind the lap record. After nearly 13 miles, that's damn good for a 4 door sedan.

I don't know... while I dig Sandra Bullock, I really think the franchise took a dive during the sequel! I mean, where do you go from there? You just crashed a cruise ship into an entire seaside village!

Oh wait... a CTS-V [edit]?! Ummm nevermind, I got nothing.

You can get a great deal on a Challenger SRT. Caddy styling... dunno.

If I were to get a pimpmobile, I'd get a certified used mercedes

It should, it beat the M5 in the comparison tests I read.......:)

I agree with Canuk, it's one of the very few GM cars I'd consider......behind the new ZR1 or course!:hump::yumyum:

The previous gen whupped arse on the SCCA toruing car circut as well, beating vettes for the manufactorers championship.

But if you are looking at brute 4 door luxury, look at the G8 as well. It does have a corvette drivetrain and can be had with a 6 speed.
