So, I am thinking of taking the new car out for a track day this year. I see HPR has their own track day for cages, but are now saying the track days are Car or Motorcycle only.

Has anyone here scheduled or thought about scheduling a cage track day? Some of you Subie fans surely?
Perhaps the one guy who has a beater CRX or whatever your current project is.... :)

I am thinking about the end of April.

I'd like to take my Murano onto the track. {j/k}

Are you thinking of the HPR open lapping Fridays? http://www.highplainsraceway.com/events.html

I am not sure how they're running them other than the $150 you pay. Can't speak for them but I'm thinking they may need a minimum number of signups to make it worthwhile. Anyone here connected with HPR? Wonder if it'll be like Second Creek's open sessions.

Yep, starting in April. I would only do a half day as it is my daily driver, but when I bought the car I figured I would do at least one. Came across the car thing while doing research for the mra season.

And I would love to take my fiance out on the track in a car. Her squeals are so enjoyable when running quickly on curvy roads, on ramps, etc, I can only imagine the sweet sound at track speeds. My favorite is when she goes "Mommy, mommy". I tried to correct her it is "daddy", but she didn't see the humor.

I'm thinking of going out there at some point as well. $90 for an afternoon of fun! :up:

I've heard you have to run water though. At least for bikes but I assume same for cars. Really makes me want to get a track bike. If only I had the garage space.
