I am heading to Denver to interview for a new job. I need SOCO's positive thoughts.

Let them know you are interested and excited about the position (if you are) and don't forget to ask closing questions. What are the next steps? When do they think a decision might be made? etc.

And send a thank you note afterwards. Let me know if you need anything that I can help you with.

Well that sounds like it went well. If they didn't cancel or did set up the next step, that means it went pretty good. Most people with VP responsibilities don't waste their time on a candidate they don't care about.
