If I could write this any bigger I would, DON'T DEAL WITH MOTORHELETS.. THEY SUCK MONKEY BALLS

Ordered a new helmet Feb 12. Feb 16th, I get my only email we're sorry, but we can only ship to your billing address. I change my Credit Card to one with the current billing address. 10 days later I give up and call, it doesn't take 10 freaking days to ship UPS from CA to CO. Oh, it looks like they just recieved my helmet to them, they had to special order it but of course they don't tell you that when you order. Should be to me in 2 days, I doubt that, I'll get it when we are in the freaking middle of another f-n cold spell.

Only takes me a couple days to get most Suomy, Arai, Scorpion, THH, Vemar helmets :) I can also beat most online prices as well.

Any of you knobs even read the reviews on the Bell Star, so far no one has a bad word to say about them.

Bell has changed hands so many times in the last 10 years, I couldn't even tell you where they are made anymore(Last I heard, they were being distributed out of Utah). Just try and get parts (like shields) for one that is more than 2 years old.
:). Shoei, Arai, Icon, Nolan, Scorpion, Suomy, HJC, KBC, and a host of others, at prices too low to post (restrictive marketing agreements). Call or email parts@tfogracing.com for the best price. We'll be open on Wednesdays starting the 25th thru September.

Can't say I've seen anything on Bell helmets recently but in my stint in racing back the 80s, a lot of guys wore them. I'm an Arai guy but I'd have no worries about putting a Bell on my noggin (now that they are being designed and built by Bell again rather than Bieffe).

I think Bell is distributed by WPS, a company I will never do business with.....

Like Jim said, availability and parts are limited right now until other distributors start to carry them.

Since bell was bought back to the US. They are distributed by the manufacturer. Main seller is www.bellstore.com (http://www.bellstore.com). WPS doesn't carry them. Now the Star is known for being one of the best vented helmets out there and very stable at speed. Confort wise I rated the one I tryed as better than my Shoei which saved my butt last fall. And for the price I supposedly got it for if the idiots ever ship it is way better than I could have gotten any Shoei or Arai for.

:scream1::scream1::scream1::scream1:

Now I'm livid. Finally got the helmet, dumb A$$es sent a small instead of a medium. Called back and they tried to tell me all about a pricing error, should have been $549. So I asked what the hell does this have to do with the fact I've waited 3 weeks for a helmet only to get a small instead of the medium I ordered, the pricing is your mistake not mine. Well I'll need to talk to a manager on monday to see what they want to do is the response I got.:banghead::banghead::banghead: So now I have a nice small helmet, I think I'm just gonna do a bill back on the credit card and order direct through Bell. Quality seems first rate on the helmet itself though and there is definatly plenty of venting. And oh man is the helmet bag nice, Shoei and Arai could learn a few things about a true helmet bag. Anyone want a nice small helmet $250

don't know why but got the size I ordered today. still took forever and they have no communication skills, guess I'm supposed to send the small back with the ups retrieve tag they sent to me. Why is it that 5 different people give me five different answers on 1 order two of them coming 15 minutes after each other.

Thanks for the updates, at least you got what you ordered at a good price.

I'll make sure I steer clear of them... :down:

+1 even though it took a long time at least u can finally ride with a nice sweet helmet. But i would still be pissed. You shouldn't have to send that small helmet back-since they F'ed up u should be able to keep it. This company sounds like one of the worst ever!http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/forums/images/icons/icon13.gif
