Dude! While I appreciate your tenacity to commute in colder-than fair-weather temps, I strongly suggest you invest in some gear to go along with your helmet. At least get some gloves! Dude, it was 36 degrees out there this morning... and while I'm sure your suit jacket helped some, I doubt that sticking your hands in your pockets whenever possible actually warmed them up... it may have given you temporary reprieve from the sting of cold wind on your knuckles, but odds are they were already numb. If I would've caught up to you in the stop-and-go traffic, I would've given you some work gloves I had in the back seat. As it was, I'm glad you made it to your exit intact - I was worried that I was gonna hafta help scrape you up off the ground after you rear-ended somebody because your fingers were too numb to grab the brakes.

Peace out. 8)

It was a bit on the nippy side this morning. Rita has my plugs on her bike and since she tipped it over, it's not starting. So I'm on the TransAlp without any of my Gerbings plugs. My fingers were a little numb at the tips by the time I got to work. I can't believe some numb nuts (perhaps literally) was riding without gloves though.

^^Kinda like the guy who rode home at 9:15 last night (when it was in the mid-forties) wearing jacket helmet & gloves...and shorts & sneakers.

It was 20 when I left this morning. I was toasty all the way in with no electricity :) I did OVER dress tho.

I just wore a neck gator with my normal gear, and I was plenty warm.

Yeah but you were smart enough to actually wear your gear. I bet he wished he had wore something other than a t shirt...

if it were a girl, no one would be complaining. Cold morning, t-shirt, woman, various car wrecks due to rubber necking = FTW

Nah, we have more common sense than to go riding half nekkid when it is freezing out! lol

You're right we wouldn't be complaining about the view. But the minute we hit the car in front of us we'd be pissed. It's like going to the strip club, spending all your money and going home alone to wank to porn.
