looking for two cheap bikes

Ciao, we are two italian bikers, with more then 700.000 miles over the sholders. We'd want to come in Colorado on July, to get two bikes and drive in your country. We saw that to rent a bike for a month costs 4000 dollars . . with a bad insurance . . a lot of money . . compared with the price we found in Italy to buy an used bike, ten years old, that is really perfect for our needing.
Can you give us some advices ? . . a good shop that has two old japanese bikes that nobody want any more but still good machines ! !
. . Yes, should be good also that one you have in your garage and try to let it start two times a year, with a dead battery . . Ciao ragazzi ( guys )

Hey, welcome to the board. Great idea, but first you might need to look into getting the bikes registered and insured since you will be visiting. How long are you planning on staying?

A great website to check for used bikes is http://www.craigslist.org. It is divided up by state, and then by major cities and you might be able to find some older bikes in great condition for $1000 or so.
