They have been doing lay offs the past couple of months. Last month it was mostly real estate, construction, but now, some merchandising.

IT at corporate is pretty tight knit, so doubt they will get hit. The biggest is real estate.

There is an Office Depot that is on 14th and Pearl in uptown Denver, and when I was by there the other day, they have a big sign out on the door that said: WE'RE HIRING!

I dunno what for, but maybe it's a lead. (?)

On the bright side Unemployment Insurance is easy to collect on.

Get it while they still have funds available.

Sorry man. It's never good to hear someone losing their job so some ass hat exec can continue making a couple hundred plus a year. I recommend checking local counties and cities website. I work for the state and at least in my area we haven't had any layoffs nor paycuts.
