Job Description:

UDR Inc is excited to add a new Executive Assistant to the CEO to the team in the Denver Corporate Office. The Executive Assistant performs full administrative and secretarial support functions for the Chief Executive Officer.


Responsibilities:

Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. Knowledge of general office practices, organizational policies, and procedures. Knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures. Ability to apply policies and procedures to solve everyday issues.

Polished interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information to top management and/or boards of directors. Must have effective verbal and listening communication skills. Ability to quickly develop strong internal working relationships.

Ability to anticipate the needs of an executive; adjust to an executive’s work style; prioritize business items for the executive's attention; establish and maintain work relations with high-level internal and external contacts; protect the confidentiality of data; facilitate internal and external communication. Exercises tact and integrity in the frequent handling of confidential information.

Thorough knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment. Ability to perform a variety of secretarial assignments requiring considerable exercise of independent judgment. Must have a strong work ethic, integrity, and good business acumen. Proven professional communications skills and outgoing personality.

Must have the ability to manage workload, to develop efficient and effective processes that impact the entire organization, and to communicate with managers and staff at all levels of the organization. Must have the ability to adjust plans and schedules to respond to crisis situations and to withstand pressure attributable to meeting the changing needs of company executives. Ability to exercise initiative, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills; team building skills; analytical and problem solving skills; and decision making skills.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Skill in composition, setting up and typing accurately and with reasonable speed, a variety of correspondence, reports, and other materials. Must have extensive experience with computer skills including the spreadsheet. word processing programs, PowerPoint presentations, and e-mail at a highly proficient level. Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.

Prerequisite List:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent is preferred. High School diploma with four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Minimum of five years related experience as an executive level administrative/secretarial position is required.

Minimum of five years' experience with MS Office software applications required (e.g., Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point).

Just talked to our head of recruiting and the big requirement for this job is that all applicants must have C-Level experience (exec assistant to CEO, CIO, CFO, etc.)
