Glad he got a ride. He and Kawi wern't working so good last year. He probably won't win, cause it's not a Yami, but I'm sure he'll do good

Glad he got a ride. I bet he is cursing the fact that he ever left Suzuki, he was just starting to get better results when he left.

That is cool. I remember seeing in "Faster" when he joined GP while they still raced the 2 strokes. He looked like he was having fun and getting much better as a rider. Then they switched to the 4 strokes. I have always kind of liked him. I wish him the best.

He's old and washed up, I waiting to hear about Aaron & David going to WSBK.

OK not really about Hopper.

Is WSBK the going to be better than GP this year?

16 bikes on the GP grid vs. thirty some odd bikes on the WSBK grid....If the first two WSBK rounds are any indication of the rest of the season, its going to be a good year for racing.

In my opinion WSBK has been as good or better than GP for a while. Closer racing and more competitive racing most of the time.

That's great!

One question though... I thought Stiggy Motorsports Honda already had two riders? Rolfo and Haslam?

Is one of them getting the boot? Hopefully not Leon... Would love to see the son of Ron do well in WSBK.

This now makes four ex-MotoGP guys in WSBK. This is wonderful for this series!!! There were already some 250 GP riders, but it's nice to see so many riders from MotoGP make it in.

By the way, I like their paint scheme on the 1000RRs. The front fairing kinda reminds me of the old RC-45s with black paint that resembles the dual intakes.

Rolfo was just .12 seconds slower around Qatar than Melandri recently.

Wow... For some reason I thought MotoGP bikes were maybe 2-3 seconds faster than WSBK bikes... I guess the difference is minimal.

Well, I did use Rolfo's Superpole time (qualifiers). Melandri was the slowest of the slow (1'58.851) and I'm not sure if he used qualifiers.

Spies practice session pace was 1'58.886 versus Stoner's test time of 1'55.744. Yes, there's a few seconds there.

I like Hopper, and wish him the best. I too think he should have stayed with Suzuki as it was becoming competitive. Imagine the team of Spies and Hopper on the Suzuki.....:)
