Not sure if this has been posted before, just happened to stumble upon it while surfing another forum. Pretty interesting guy. I think he nailed it in my opinion....

Nice video. Thanks for posting. I guess its time to say its the liberals fault that we as Americans are unhappy. There are so many hands out for free money and I am not going to see a bit, because a trillion dollars isn't enough to go around.

I myself am giving my outrage gland a good workin' over due to "Press 2 para Espanol" on our nation's sacred voice mail systems!

It bothers me much more than the giant losses in my 401K due to the global financial meltdown. Must be libruls! They're the ones that created the environment that allowed greedy Wall Street fuckheads to write checks their asses couldn't cover.

I have been told its "you people" that want English to be the nations language. I really don't think its just me. If you really do want diversity then what better way to have that then by having a language barrier. We can't communicate so there is a wedge shoved between us. And if they come to our country we are the hosts and you should never insult your hosts. Learn the language and the laws or leave you weren't invited anyway.

ZX, my point is that what's happening on this page (http://www.federalreserve.gov/releases/h41/Current/) is a more important than English-only.

That's the weekly H.4.1 Report, one of the few publically-available portal into the day-to-day operations of the Federal Reserve, which is the point of the spear in the Bailout. Many pieces of the Bailout are in the middle of the top table, such as "Credit extended to American International Group, Inc." (There's that $40bn from last week.) down to the "Maiden Lane" lines (They're for Bear Stearns and AIG). The "Repurchase agreements" line is how the Fed used to funnel money to shaky banks. After being in the $40bns for weeks, it's zero now. Why is that?

It's because they've created new entities to shovel the money out, and they're conveniently not on this report. We should be more interested in getting transparency to the new mechanisms such as the "Asset-Backed Commercial Paper Money Market Mutual Fund Liquidity Facility" more than spending time and energy worrying about culture war stuff like English-only.

I hear you there. Its not something that we as a nation should be embroiled over right now. Instead we should be figuring out why bailout money is being given to big banks to buy little banks. Is it because the bigger banks are being controlled by a government agency and intern owning all the smaller banks too? So I'll keep watching.

A YouTube video by actor Bob Basso portraying a modern day Thomas Paine is sweeping this country. Not since "I want my country back" has something so pro-American, so red white and blue, so revolutionary, taken this country by storm.
It calls for the 2nd American Revolution, and that apparently has Obama worried. Unconfirmed reports say that the Obama White House has contacted Basso and told him they would like to "meet" with him, and until then, they would prefer he not discuss the video in the media. Again this is an unconfirmed report.
Please watch this reminder of what our responsibility as a citizen of this country should be. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKFKGrmsBDk
And to the new administration, just a reminder, we still have freedom of speech. You haven't taxed us or jailed us out of that...yet.
Tell me your thoughts on Bob Basso's performance. A Patriot or Subversive?
Clearly I believe he is a patriotic American.
And just in case you are a product of the public schools and never learned about Thomas Paine, please read about the Father of the American Revolution who wrote the phrase "These are the times that try men's souls" at http://www.ushistory.org/PAINE/ (http://www.ushistory.org/PAINE/).

...and he was never heard from again :(

I'm sure some of you will disagree with me on this...but it's better to be hated for who you are then liked for who you are not.

Diversity...I feel as tho there is nothing wrong with diversity to a point. If we look at nature...(you know that part of the planet that has proceded this and other Nations, and will be here long after humans kill each other).... Diversity within nature is what makes life worth living. Imagine if there was only one color flower, one kind of vegetable, only one option of cooking your steak, one type of woman, one height, one weight, one element, one nucleotide, one organ in your body, one color in the sky, one type of star, one planet, one type of motorcycle with one wheel..lol...etc.

The wonderful thing about having 100 plus elements on the periodic table is that in all of their differences, they can all come together chemically under one purpose to form cells of different types that make up different organs and organ systems..etc. It is possible to unify diverse people under one cause...and it is their diversity under one cause that gives the cause it's strength IMO.

Yeah I heard about this over on XDTalk:http://www.xdtalk.com/forums/political-view/112009-thomas-paine-youtube-star-summoned-white-house.html
Apparently they want to meet with him over the "disturbing nature" of his videos, which is interesting because I can't figure out what is so disturbing about his videos

The man who created two phenomenally successful "We The People" YouTube videos urging Americans to stand up against Congress and reclaim their republic now – or perhaps lose it forever – reportedly has been summoned to the White House by President Obama to discuss the subject matter of the short films.

Bob Basso, who posts videos under the name funbobbasso on YouTube, has created videos in which he portrays Thomas Paine, author of the "Common Sense" pamphlet that made the case for independence during the American Revolution.

Basso, whose website offers his services as a motivational speaker, uses the YouTube presentations to condemn "non-representing representatives" and warns, "Only when they feel the almighty wrath of 'We The People' marching in the streets from California to New York shouting 'We're mad as hell and we want our country back' will they get the message they work for you."

He was scheduled this week to appear on the "Jerry Doyle Show" when he told the radio host that Obama had personally invited him to meet in the White House "to discuss the disturbing nature of the videos."

According to a spokesman for Doyle's show, at the time when Basso was supposed to be calling in for the show, he was unavailable. Basso reached the show several hours later, explaining he had been flooded by media calls and literally was unable to call out.

The result, the spokesman said, was that Basso promised to provide Doyle with the first exclusive interview after he meets with Obama, provided the invitation still stands after the meeting was leaked to the press.

The spokesman said information about the meeting has not been made public, and show producers are waiting to see what develops. A WND message left for Basso was not immediately returned.

The Doyle show reaches about 3 million listeners each week, according to Talkers Magazine, and is the fastest growing show in Talk Radio Network Enterprises' history with more than 240 stations.

In his second video, which has been seen more than 1.1 million times, Basso challenges people to let Congress know their displeasure by sending tea bags. It is embedded here:

He criticizes Congress for approving the "largest spending bill in history without reading it" and criticizes American citizens, because "you did nothing."

He raises the issue of billions of dollars for benefits for illegal aliens, the exportation of U.S. jobs overseas and others.

"If your self-serving Congress were a business they'd all be in jail now," he said.

"Wake up, America. While you were playing with the toys of your consumer wealth, you lost much more than your bloated economy of living beyond your means. You lost your representative democracy. Your servants have become your masters. Taxation without representation is tyranny," he said.

He's equally unhappy with Americans in the first video, embedded here:

In that piece he warns of the problem of supporting the rest of the world while America needs to be rebuilt.

Referring to "progressives," he said, "We had another word in 1776. We called them traitors."

Basso is the author of the best-selling book "This Job Should Be Fun" along with 10 other books, including "Lighten Up Corporate America!"

A former award winning news director for NBC TV and visiting professor at UCLA, Basso has a Ph.D in communications.

Doyle's distinctive repertoire includes former Wall Street insider, TV star and jet pilot. He has starred in many made-for-TV movies, but is best known as the character Michael Garibaldi on the Emmy winning Sci-fi television series "Babylon 5," which ran for five years.

Good vid overall. Don't know if I agree about the diversity, but we do need some sort of to unify us into one country. The handouts need to stop, here and abroad. Especially to people who hate us or stand against us
