Job Title: Marketing Professional
Reports To: Director of Research
Business Entity: Comcast Media Center (CMC)


JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Professional will manage all the marketing activities that are executed in support of product and sales departments.This individual is expected to assist in defining the campaign strategy, management and implementation based upon overall company and product strategy. This includes (but not limited to) the following: managing outside vendor/?agency; developing collateral materials; conducting post-analysis of any program; coordinating consumer/?trade show events.? The person will be responsible for managing timeliness and gathering appropriate approvals throughout the whole development process.?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:*

Responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating marketing campaigns for the CMC through acquisition and interpretation of relevant data and other information.

Identify key goal, objective, or outcome of the marketing material

Work closely with the CMC Marketing team to coordinate and collaborate all marketing activities

Ability to execute on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.

Manage sign-off and approval process for project deliverables

Document management - track products, status, contracts and agreements

Administrative support and coordination as needed of sales and product messaging and image.

Identify audience and appropriate media

Design, produce and write effective marketing material

Act as liaison between contracted marketing firm and CMC Radiance.

Analyze and report on effectiveness of marketing material

Coordinate allocation of resources and budget for producing marketing material
Assist with Training/educating staff on effective use of marketing materials

Maintain inventory of marketing materials
Acts as a liaison for manager and other departments in researching questions accurately and expediently.

Acts as a liaison with legal counsel for legal clearance on marketing copy and offers.

Track and monitor project progress and develop project work plans

Identify, develop and maintain relationships with vendors & suppliers

Execute diversified marketing assignment

Manage all trade show needs for the Ad and News Delivery products: booths, collateral, executive speaking opportunity logistics, editing of press releases, etc.

Support all product and content updates of Radiance web site to vendor.

Support Radiance Sales Team including product presentation updates, sales proposal templates.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or equivalent work-experience.

Experience as a marketing coordinator in a software and services environment preferred
Demonstrated ability to maintain knowledge of current product development and marketing strategies.

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams, vendors and business management

Deadline driven, ability to complete all projects accurately and in a timely manner with great attention to detail

Self-motivated and dependable – strong project execution, combined with initiative to introduce new projects based upon division needs as it grows and changes.

Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus

Minimum of three years of marketing experience, to include developing and implementing marketing programs and materials

A clear work history of being able to design and disseminate effective marketing pieces

Knowledge of MS Office

Experience using Adobe Suite (photoshop, illustrator, InDesign) and web design software.


Practical experience in creative work in a highly marketing oriented, fast-paced atmosphere preferred.

Demonstrated ability to maintain knowledge of current product development and marketing strategies.

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with fellow employees.

Willing and able to travel as necessary.

Strong knowledge of MS Office

Previous experience in training helpful.
