Jonesin' for some bait tonight and wondering who knows of any
good happy hour deals around town.

Preferably north or central since I'm meeting up with a friend in the N/E part of town.

I like John Holly's, but I have no idea about their happy hours... their site's blocked.

Off of Downing between Yale & Evans (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=John+Holly%27s&sll=39.677995,-104.959431&sspn=0.081253,0.134239&ie=UTF8&ll=39.719335,-104.983292&spn=0.162408,0.268478&z=12&iwloc=A)

Jeff,

Land of Sushi on A-pahoe and University has good deals (the one you met Sweetie and I at)

Also, doesn't Sushi Basho have special HH prices?

Preferably north or central since I'm meeting up with a friend in the N/E part of town. The sushi place by our house at Littleton and Santa Fe has a happy hour that isn't too bad. Think like $1 sushi....

Yeah I've been there and like it, but the AYCE special isn't my favorite.
All rice, no bait.

Their regular menu is good though. And the Spider Roll (my fav) is good and not $14 like some places.

Yeah, I think it's called Basha. Been there and it is pretty good.
But looking for something a little closer to my freinds house (which is Hwy.76 and 155th..... yes BFE.)

I miss Takayama on Jewel and Wads.
Gengi and Noriko were great people but now it's closed. :(

:imwithstupid: Their happy hour menu used to be better, but it's still good sushi.

Also, downtown there's Opal. Not the greatest sushi you've ever had, but 2 for 1 is awesome anywhere. Not to mention the $1 Coronas.

I was thinking of Opal too but was hoping to find somewhere further north.
Doesn't sound like the N/E is a hotspot for sushi...damn hicks!

I think it's down to Hapa or Opal.

Since we can't find any place northeast we're gonna do Opal.
I know their happy hour has the #1 draw for me....2-4-1 Saki!!:drink:
Come on down anyone who's in the mood.
We're going early (4:30) but will be there for a while.

+1 on Sonodas (http://www.sonodassushi.com/locations/aurora.asp)... On Parker at about Peoria..... I always make a pig of myself there, and before 6 it's half price, so it's affordable. :yumyum:

From where it sounds like you're going to be, I would go to American Samurai in Brighton. You're going to be literally 10 minutes away, if that, and they make really good stuff.

I recommend the Cizz Roll. :yumyum:
