When I called State Farm to let them know I got a KLR 650, they wanted to charge $10.00 more per month than my R1!!!!! It would have been something like $750.00 / year for it.
When I asked why the lady spouted off it was more powerful, etc & so forth. After a hard chuckle @ her I told her to look into what she was saying along with the ridiculous quote & call me back in a couple days.
Well, State Farm has re-assessed their street legal off-road bikes. As long as you ride your bike 51% off-road .... I now pay $135.00/year for her & I have a LOT more than even the basic comp/collision/etc.
Might be worth for some others to look into this new assessment!!
