Hey does anyone have a chain breaker/ rivet tool that they can lend me, or can come over and let me use it? I will provide some beers if someone wants to come over and help out for a few?:drink:

Which do you need?

I have a chain breaker that I'd be happy to lend out, but the riveter I have was pretty pricy and I just don't lend it out. I can probably assist you sometime Saturday if you can wait that long, or I can drop off a chain breaker for you tomorrow afternoon.

I can give you a hand tomorrow night (the tool is at home) but like Scott I don't just loan it out.

Thats cool. I already cut the stock chain off so its stuck in my garage. i just need to take one link off the new chain and then rivet it together. Like ten minutes worth of work. I just dont want to mess it up trying to use a c clamp and ball bearings. Rather use the right tool. I can give you some gas money also $20?

I'll be on my bike so I'm not even worried about the gas. I work until 7 (summer hours) so 7:30 or 8 depending on where in EngleHOOD :) you are

 to Paul! He knows his bikes, and is a good guy. If it wasn't for him, I would have been in bike repair hell!
