Rip rider.I hope that texting she was (probably) doing at the time when she killed someone lands her in jail for awhile.But then again,she'll prolly get some community service or some shit like that,at best!Like FGB said ..."watch your six" .And by the way I always keep my bike in gear at the lights for this very reason.RIP

Read some of the comments below that article, there's some more background on the rider as well (no name, but he was definitely a family guy).

My wife had been out and saw the traffic jam that this wreck had created. She called me to check on me. I had been riding in that area a little bit earlier that day.

I didn't see anything in the article saying she was texting or otherwise occupied. I did see some comments where people assumed it was something like that, but nothing in the posted story.

Always sad to see a rider go down due to incompetence of a driver :(
