Yup. His CBR is a beat to hell and back track whore, but it's a cheap way to get started. I'd check the frame out on it first though. ;)

Those steel F3 frames are pretty idestructable. Ask anyone who has raced them before. TONS of parts available, and cheap too, since it's not in real high demand anymore.

Indestructable yeah, I'm just saying it'd be cheap to have Tony Martin take a look at it and verify it for straightness, and possibly correct it. I had to do that with my GSXR when I bought it. IMO it's worth the peace of mind knowing everything lines up perfect.

Not for me! LOL Ride it like you stole it! ;) How "cheap" is that, anyway?

Yeah, I tried to destoy an F2 frame in turn 1 in La Juanta. Bitch would not break. :banghead: Plus frame straitness is over-rated. I mean it is going to turn better to one side anyways, what wrong with that?

I want to say in the $2-300 range. MV, do you remember? I also saw $150 in there somewhere but I don't think that was for all of it.

Loopster, if you're gonna do it now is the time. You have to strip a lot off the bike. Get that done before you reassemble it all for the season.

$150 to look at it... and then depending on the condition of the frame Tony adjusts for his time spent.

Whats up D. you going for the NGTU & GTO championship  I have a question maybe Glenn or Ralph could answer how many new riders will come on with the MRA this year or how many do you expect to see ? is there an average number per season or does it vary alot from year to year ?

It can vary, we anticipate a good number of newbies just because word is getting out through places like CSC and a lot of sportbike riders are trying it out. I don't have any real numbers as to last year or the years previous though.

Yes, I would be very interested in this. I have an '04 R6, so it would race in the 6000cc class, but not the vintage class, but rather the full on class.
Please contact me:
(1) PM
(2) email: ba_r1@mail.com
(3) phone: home (303)749-0091
cell (720)988-4276
Look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,

Bill Alexander (ba_r1)

P.S. I have an '04 R1 too, but lets stay realistic.

Uhh, homey they're not reading this, that was just a cross post from the MRA forum. Also, if you're asking for people to support your racing efforts, take the time to call them first. Just a thought. ;)

Yes, I realize that now, but thank you for the clarification.

And, yes that certainly would be a DAMN BIG BIKE ! (6000cc class).
That was obviously a typo. I certainly didn't mean to set off any sort of a size competition/penis envy thing. (Thats why I didn't make any reference to my 80" male member.)

Thanks for both clarifications.
