I am closing on a house in a month or so and am starting to look around for places that sell "stuff" for the house. Being that the house is older, the inside doors are solid wood and will be hard to match at the home repair big box stores.

Does anyone know of a place in the Springs (preferred) or even Denver that buys and sells old, reclaimed house stuff? We had a great store in Atlanta that people would bring in their old doors, windows, etc so when another person needed original parts that are not made any more, you could usually find the out of date pieces you need to keep your house consistent and original.

Extras off of 58th and I25 has a lot of stuff like that. Not necessarily older stuff like you're looking for, but definitely worth giving them a call.

Bud's warehouse has some stuff like that. When people were tearing down houses to put up new ones, they went through first and salvaged what they could. It's on the frontage road on the north side of I-70 between Dahlia and Colorado.

Habitat for Humanity sometimes has stuff. http://www.habitat.org/cd/env/restore_detail.aspx?place=79
