In roughly 5 hours I will no longer have healthcare. With Swine Flew and waiting for my other options to come into effect. This next month is by far going to be the riskiest month I have ever had to go though.

See if you can get with Anthem on a HSA. I used it for 1 yr+ when I worked for myself and it wasn't too bad. ~$150/month.

Unfortunately he's gonna have significant trouble finding independent coverage with his medical history since CO is not one of the states that mandates companies cover all applicants. That always jacks with everybody's insurance rates, but there is also a pool of high risk policies that people can get in on.
T - Are you just losing the insurance, or did you lose your job too? Is COBRA do-able for you? I know it costs an arm and a leg, but sometimes you can get away with not making an official decision for a month or so unless you end up using it.
Anyway...PM me if you want to chat about it... I was on the hunt for solo insurance not that long ago and have been in the situation of having to play the coverage games a few times in the past.
