Just need to know if anyone knows of a particular flush mount turn signal that would fit a '03 Kawi ZX-6R 636. I tried the LP dual filament small sized signals but don't fit that great, any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
motaboy

By far the best looking and best fitting out there, but also a little bit of cash.

Are those legal. Do they have the same capacity as the dual filament lens that act as the blinker and marker light?

I have those greggs customs billet flush mounts with the frosted white lens. They are only single filament. They don't stay on as running lights, they are blinkers only. Bright for their size though. I think they are some of the best looking out there. I know there are some with LED's built in, but those look like a spiders head with eyes all around. Get Greggs www.tobefast.com

You think the LP's look better than the greggs customs? WHY?

I'm not too fond of the Gregg's either. I think for the money, I'd like'em better if you could get a clear bulb, rather than forced with amber. And the design just doesn't really do much for me either. They are certainly flush, but it doesn't really scream style, for how spendy they are. :dunno:

Obviously I'm biased, but I love what I did with the shortstalk Large version of the LP LEDs that I got.

Instead of using the stalk at all, holes were drilled in my inner fairing, allowing me to recess them just past the edge of the clear lense and tilt'em kind of backwards.

This isn't a great angle for the pic, but I like the way that they slightly protrude out from the fairing, in order to aim forward. The 8 LEDs hopefully grab attention from motorists as well. As Lolo said, they have a unique arrangement. And also, I have them wired as blinkers only, and not runners.

Incidently, I can't take credit for that mounting either. I saw that back'in'theday on a guys '00 R1. He had that done, with "bulbed" LP shortstalks.

Thanks man. If it weren't for Wahoo coming over with a drill, I'd still have my OE blinkers on.

I'm pretty sure none of them (at least not the LP ones) are DOT legal, but most of us that have them don't get hassled for them. Also, I'm not sure, but I don't think it's required for a motorcycle to have front running lights. I may be wrong, though. The dual-filament ones are bigger just because of the nature of the bulb. Not sure if an LED can be set up to be a running light.

You don't need to have blinkers on a bike, so yes, they are DOT legal. :P Hand signals are ok.

Yes an LED strip CAN be set up as a running light, you would need to install a diode in order for it to work... VERY simple to do! RADIANTZ (http://www.radiantz.com/) sells these for about $10, they are called Dual Element Circuits
