My girlfriend took a personal day today (I'm ready to string up her boss) and we wanted to do some hiking. Any ideas? Probably short and nothing elevation-change-crazy (bad knees from soccer). Just throwing this out there...

Lair 'o the Bear in Morrison - very easy. Just watch for bears!

Three Sisters in Evergreen is one of my fav's for a near-by relaxing stroll. There is short route or a longer route to choose from. And it's just so pretty and smells fantastic.

There is even one Sister you can climb to the top of and sit in a little concave space and overlook the city. Very cool if you can figure out which sister it is.

We really appreciated all the input everybody! We hit Lair O' The Bear and the Three Sisters and had a blast. I'll post some pics later.

Totally agree. That's the first area I scoured when I moved here..

After your knees get off their period, you can head up to Brainard Lake and try that, or Indian Peaks..Golden Gate Canyon has some nice trails locally too...
