"193 horsepower at 13,000 RPM, 82.5 lb-ft of torque at 9,750 RPM, 455.3 pounds with a full tank of gas. Those statistics are enough to give the big Beemer the most horsepower and best power-to-weight ratio of all literbikes intended for public consumption"

Unfortunatly those stats are just that, unfounded by the general public. Till then I will reserve any judgment. Looks good for a Bimmer though.

Wow, a good looking BMW sport bike. Although the default color looks like something I would put on my taco. I love it in black. For price I saw 15k on autoblog. Very sexy.

Gotta hand it to 'em. Someone's lit a fire in Germany and they're finally cranking out more than tourers. I can't wait to see one in person.

On paper, it sounds like a winner. I'm probably going to have to pass though, by virtue of headlight-styling alone.

If it comes with those wheels and brakes, I would think price would be more like 16-18k, depending on suspension parts too. Just like Aprilia and their base vs factory models?
I like it....

German Price, should be lower here:
Details are still sketchy, but it weighs 183kg (dry), has a 999cc inline four and will cost €15,150 ($19,438 ) when it goes on sales in Germany early this summer.

It's right up there with the RC8 - on my list of "bikes to have in the garage after a powerball win"...
I like it for the BMW quirkiness... color, odd headlights, shark gils
But then again, I've been drooling over these for a while now...

No it wasn't a bike. I should have said I was talking about apples and oranges. I don't know what beemer it is but its a 4 door white sedan with a lot bells and whistles.
