I have a 97 YZF 600R
Right now I have Dunlop 207's
I mainly do a lot of Highway riding to & from work. I would say I do about 70% city/highway riding & 30% cannon riding.
I have spoken to a few people here at work & they suggest getting some Metzeler Sport techs.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated. :D

michlin macadams. I had these tires on my 2000GSXR750 for almost 8000 miles. Good in the corners (for a beginer) long lasting. take a look at these tires

I'm running the D208ZRs and have been happy with my 90% road, 10% track time. That's also what Dunlop recommends for your bike over the 207s.

Snowsmoke, my favorite "sport touring" tire set up has been a BT020 on the rear (lasts longer any normal sport tire- 207, Sportec, Pilot Sport etc and is still PLENTY sticky enough for canyons) and a BT010 on the front. The 010 is stickier than the 020 and works awesome for stoppies etc. :D I've even put a bit of track time on these tires, though I wouldn't really reccommend that with the 020 rear. I think I got about 10,000 miles on both.

If you're happy with the 207's, I've got a set that I took off my bike when I turned it into a racebike. They've got about 1200 miles on them, but a lot of that was track time and they have way more tread in the center than on the sides, perfect for commuting. :)
