I need a little balance after reading that...

So, today's my birthday. My two girls are in Burlington for their cousin's graduation, and my son (the oldest) is working (also no longer lives at home). I get a call from my son on my ride today. He's like, "Where are you, Mom?" I told him I'm on a ride with friends. He says, "Damn, I was gonna take you to breakfast for your birthday."

My girls called while I was on the ride today, too. My oldest girl asked where I was and if I was enjoying myself. She was happy I was having a good time. Before they left yesterday, my girls signed a bday card and left it in my bedroom with a big ol' dark chocolate bar.

I love my kids like none other.:)
