AT&T Data Network Down?!

Anyone having problems with AT&T's data network this morning? My iPhone hasn't updated it's inboxes since 2AM, and no other Apps are getting data connections, yet I can make phone calls. I also did a hard boot to no avail.

Mine is up as of 6:30 this morning.

Non of the security sites show it as being down.

I can make phone calls, just can't get any data from Safari, email, apps, etc. :banghead:

That is odd. I would reseat the SIM card and reboot. Happens to some of our BB's from time to time as well.

Just tried that going through a ton of troubleshooting steps with ATT... still no dice. Now they're transferring me to Apple. Cripes.

I'm using 3G... but finally got a tech at AT&T who told me there are "sporadic data outages throughout Colorado." Should be cleared up in 24-48 hours. Fvckers.

That is odd, I have sending pics one after another from my BB since 7 with no downtime.

I was having the same problem with my iPhone at 7:30 this morning. Tried connecting to Edge and rebooting a couple times. I assumed that they were having issues. I haven't touched the phone since then, so I don't know if it's still going on.

I have about 4500 on my BES - 3900 of them are on AT&T. Not 1 complaint yet.

Looking at a few o four BB's here we are losing EDGE and hitting edge or GPRS every so often but it is not interrupting our data flow. The 2 iPhones I have here are on EDGE and still not getting anything. REALLY odd. Unless they are using a different network internal to ATT for data.

Got a report from a friend in Fort Collins... his 3G data is down too. Says he got an IP assignment, just no gateway.

Data network was down. It is now up again (here in Lakewood) since I'm able to type this. Only thing I was able to do was make and recieve calls. It was really an Old School feeling for most of this morning, :lol:

I went thru the usual steps to remedy this but it's still happening... a network outage might explain it, tho I am showing as being on the EDGE network. :dunno:It was the same on my iPhone, it said I was connected to 3G and EDGE when I turned off 3G, but it still wouldn't send / pull any data.

Made me realize exactly how worthless a smartphone is without the data. :)

I just got an email from my network team saying the DATA outage has been resolved. The outage started last evening and was officially declared "resolved" as of 10:00am Mountain Standard.

I'm a sales manager for AT&T so feel free to direct any AT&T questions in my direction.

Given the above news, I just reset my phone again. A few emails were delivered & the hourglass is gone.
