View Full Version : attn: ladies, concensus on mens hairiness

okay so heres a topic for the week, mens body hair. Do you like em hairy, little hair, or shaved. No im not talkin about the hair on the head either. I am talkin body hair and facial hair (all body hair, yep that stuff too). I myself am a fairly hairy guy, no back hair or anything like that (im no robin williams), but i could probably grow a Beautiful beard if i could stand it long enough, but alas i am more of a 5 o clock shadow kinda guy. As for us guys there may be a bit of a discussion as to the hairiness of women in this thread also. So lets have at.

im a little hairy myself and HATE IT. so much so that i wax...ok maybe not wax but clip it all, and i mean all. lol.

as for hair on a woman, personally dont like it either. bikini waxing is a wonderful thing. i mean, even i keep myself fairly cleaned up, isn't it fair to ask the same?

Facial hair, or no facial hair is fine by me. The one thing about facial hair that bothers me is kissing a 5 o'clock shadow face...OUCH! Seriously, especially if I haven't kissed a man for a while...talk about raw'ness the next day.

Back hair....ewwwww

Chest hair/no chest hair...meh

Bald, or flowing locks...just as long as it's not a rat's nest. Keep it washed and clean every day and I'm happy.

I won't talk about any of the other stuff, cuz that's just wrong...I'd rather let that be something that's talked about privately.

Well as for myself, I love growing facial hair. I've always got it in some sort of cut. Either my usual(modified Curly Bill) or I'll sometimes run a full goatee. I had some sweet fat/full chops most of the winter but come early Spring they had to go(started to get hot in them). My newest cut will be coming this Fall/Winter. As soon as it's cool enough, I'm going to grow it all out and then do a full on "Wolverine" chops look.

If you can grow it(and yeah some guys are gifted more than others in facial hair) it's fun to mess with. It's something my buddies and I at work are always having fun with. See who can grow the quickest beard and stuff like that.

As far as being a man with hair. I think it's sort of well "manly" to have body hair. I ain't into shaving it off(not that I'm super hairy) but I think if you're a man, then be a man and have hair.

Now a complete double standard that I live by is Women being completely shaven. I think women should shave it all and keep it shaved. Ain't nothing worse or nastier then seeing a woman with some armpit hair or some longer leg hair. That's enough to make me cringe. And I know in the winter time some women like to neglect their body shaving duties and run a little extra length on the old body hair. I'm sorry but that's just ill and I think it's a 365 day thing for women to be clean and smooth.

I don't do the natural thing and really get turned off by women who tend to run O' Natural. That doesn't do much for me. I can't say as I'm into the hardcore high maintenance women(though I don't have a problem with it, if they are) but I do like a woman to be clean and shaved everyday, day in an day out.

If I had to place myself into a category for likes in women. I'd have to say I fall into the "well maintained to high maintenance" categories. I'm sorry I don't like busted chicks.

I think that is why he is fresh on the brain, I don't go out of my way to watch his show, but I will because of Ferrell.
If I saw a news article headline "Actor/comedian Will Ferrell mauled to death by wild animal" my first response would be along the lines, of, "hmm, I wonder what he was doing to taunt it."

hmmm... I have to say that I like both looks on a man. I find clean cut very appealing... but I also find men with facial hair very sexy ... even Wolverine chops can be pulled off if it's the right guy ;) There was a time when I really liked the clean shaven chests, but as I mature (.. riight) I think a hairy chest is hawt as well :yumyum:..(as long as it's not overly hairy)

Hair or no hair, I'm fine with whatever :eyebrows:.... as long as they don't have back or ass hair!

Personal theory: I like it when a woman shaves the playground. I also like to be the recipient of said attention. So, I don't like hacking up furballs, I would think that the same would be true for a woman, so I clean up the playground too.

As far as the rest of it, that's just a personal preference. I can tell you from experience that a lot of hair retains a lot of heat. A little manscaping helps alleviate this problem. You don't have to shave it all off like some competitive swimmer, but a nice clip job can do wonders during the summer to help reduce overheating issues. . .

I think body hair is unappealing on guys and girls. I know it's hard to maintain all the time but the less hair (everywhere), the better. There are a select few that look good with minimal facial hair but full beards are not attractive to me. Hairy chests and backs are gross.

That's the thing Pandora it's more of a guy thing to see how ridiculous you can grow your facial hair(at least for me it is). I think the trick to pulling off the chops or long sideburns look is keeping it trimmed and well defined. Yeah I've seen some guys with rockin chops that are puffy and huge. But it looks like a birds nest on the side of their face. You've got to keep it cut in and defined in order for it to pass off as not corny.

Now for me I normally run a "Curly Bill" just because it's cooler in the summer, I think it looks classy(my opinion) and it allows me to have some fun with keeping it trimmed and what not, all while having some facial hair.

Winter time I tend to run more fuller facial(goatee and chops), because I'm outside and it's nice to have something to keep the old face warm other than a ski mask HAHA. I ain't really into growing full on beards, just because I don't care for them. Only reason I'm going to grow a full one is to set up my Wolverine chops.

I know some women don't like chops or sideburns but it's mainly a fun thing for guys to do. Besides it's not like it changes who you are HAHA, I mean you can shave them off.

As far as being completely clean shaven. I like it too, only problem is I burn up a lot of razors that way(either shave everyday or every other day). Though every now and then it's nice to just run completely clean for awhile. Then it's back to growing something else.

That's different, and I admitted to it:

It's just how I feel. For men to have hair, is what men are supposed to do. I think it only enhances more a woman's body when she keeps it shaved, clean and smooth. It's a very feminine attribute that I really like. Sorry....

I think body hair is unappealing on guys and girls. I know it's hard to maintain all the time but the less hair (everywhere), the better. There are a select few that look good with minimal facial hair but full beards are not attractive to me. Hairy chests and backs are gross.

If you find you like someone but think he's too hairy, here's an idea:
